Rolex Submariner Date Model 168000 Year 1987 Black Bezel Stainless Steel Vintage
An all original stunning and rare Rolex Submariner with a rare model number, 168000. This watch is all stainless steel with a glossy black dial. The insert is in excellent condition. The oyster band is still tight and clean. This watch was produced in the year 1987 with an R591 serial.This rare model is known as a transitional model due to it's unique model number. It was produced for a very short period and is considered the "Triple 0" Submariner.
This model features standard submariner features, including a unidirectional rotating bezel; cyclops and date; and quick set function for the date.
The watch has recently been serviced and is in excellent running condition having been tested for time.
The photos have been magnified to present the condition of the watch. The watch is in excellent overall condition with few signs of wear. The crystal has been replaced to a newer one, the old crystal has a scratch on it but is included with the sale of this watch.
