In-person transactions are finalized on the spot and payment is made immediately. We guarantee a simple process at the quickest rate. Mail-in transactions can vary depending on your location and number of units to assess. If you are shipping your jewelry to our office the valuation process can take up to 48 hours. We will then contact you directly with an offer.

No, you do not need a GIA certificate to sell your jewelry. Our in house gemologists have the expertise to evaluate diamonds with the same standards and grading techniques as GIA. However, we do encourage you to bring any type of documentation or packaging that came with the item at the time of purchase.

We understand the sensitivity that comes with shipping high-value jewelry. We guarantee only insured shipping services to secure the value of your jewelry. If you wish for us to return your jewelry, we ship from Monday to Friday to guarantee overnight weekday delivery and availability to contact our office if needed.

We do our best to offer the fairest estimate on market value. However, if you do not agree with our offer you are not obligated to sell your jewelry. If you wish to sell more than one item you are not compelled to sell your entire selection. We understand and respect that the jewelry you may wish to sell holds a sentimental value, and you will always be welcome to visit our office in the future when you are ready to sell.

Nicholas Estate Buyers offers competitive rates for Emerald, Sapphire, Ruby and other colored gemstone jewelry; steel sport watches; vintage and gold watches by celebrated watchmakers; loose diamonds of all types as well as diamond rings. We also buy coins both silver and gold plus antiquities such as Edwardian, Victorian or Georgian jewellery, Art Deco pieces or items from the Art Nouveau era - however we do not purchase lab grown diamonds.
