Description
An all original, very limited, and stunning 18K yellow gold Cartier Santos Octagon featuring an original diamond bezel and diamond studded link bracelet. This special watch is in excellent vintage condition. The watch has never been polished and retains a warm patina throughout accenting the vintage look. The white dial has a faint spider effect throughout as the lacquer has aged. This watch has model 2965 and was made in circa 1980. The watch comes with it's original box.
The watch case measures 30 mm wide (excluding the diamond crown) and 38 mm long from lug tip to tip.
The white lacquered dial has black roman numeral index markers and blue steel hands. The dial is protected by a scratch resistant sapphire crystal, surrounded by a diamond set bezel. The diamonds are all original factory Cartier. The crown is also factory Cartier set with a round brilliant cut diamond.
The watch will fit up to a 7 inch wrist. The diamond adorned bracelet is also factory original Cartier and features two round brilliant cut diamonds in place of screws throughout all of the permanent links. The deployant buckle is made of 18K yellow gold and is adorned with french hallmarks, as is the case back.
The watch is in running condition and has recently been serviced. The watch is in excellent vintage condition with no dents or dings and very few hairline scratches.
