Overview
A very rare and vintage Cartier Tank Vermeil Palissandre. This collectible wristwatch features a unique rosewood dial and matching rosewood case sides. It is all original Cartier, except for the replacement band. The case is electroplated with 18K yellow gold (20 microns thick) over sterling silver.
The manual winding movement is housed in a 25 mm x 33.5 mm case (excluding crown), with gold Roman numeral hour markers and gold sword hands. The dial is protected by a mineral glass crystal. The original crown is adorned with a synthetic blue sapphire cabochon.
Bracelet
The watch is fitted with a generic leather strap and the original Cartier vermeil buckle.
Condition
The watch is in excellent vintage condition. Light hairline scratches are visible on the case back, crystal, and buckle. The watch is running and fully functional but is not waterproof.
