An elegant and antique 18K yellow gold Patek Philippe pocket watch, measuring 45mm wide and featuring a white porcelain dial. This piece was specially made for the prestigious American retailer Shreve, Crump & Low. It is an open-face, keyless design from circa 1900 and is in good antique condition. The watch is 100% original Patek Philippe.

Case

The open-face case is crafted in 18K yellow gold and measures 45mm in diameter, excluding the crown. Including the crown, it stands 55.5mm tall, and 62mm with the fob bow. It is fitted with a mineral glass crystal that shows minimal signs of wear. The case is not hinged and remains fully intact. Water resistance is not rated.

Dial

The white porcelain dial features painted Roman numerals and a sunken sub-seconds dial at 6 o’clock with Arabic numerals. It is signed “Patek Philippe & Co, Genève Switzerland.” The dial is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips, fading, or damage.

Condition

Good overall antique condition with wear consistent with age, including light surface scratches throughout the case. Both the dial and movement remain in excellent condition, with the dial free of any visible defects.

Description

This timepiece measures 45mm wide from 9 to 3 o’clock. Including the crown, it measures 55.5mm tall, and 62mm including the fob bow. The dial is white porcelain with painted Roman numerals and a sunken sub-seconds dial at 6 o’clock featuring Arabic numerals. The dial is signed “Patek Philippe & Co, Genève Switzerland.”

The manually wound nickel-finished movement is original and signed “Patek Philippe,” marked “18 Jewels,” “8 Adjustments,” and also bears a second signature “Shreve, Crump & Low Co Boston.” The case plate is engraved “Made for Shreve, Crump & Low Co Boston” and “By Patek Philippe & Co, Genève Switzerland.” Both the movement and back plate are numbered and signed. The original crown and fob bow are also signed Patek Philippe.
