Overview

A vintage, iconic, and luxurious 18K yellow gold Rolex Submariner Date in 40mm featuring an eye-catching purple-blue dial. This timepiece is 100% original and includes its full original set. It comes with the Rolex outer cardboard box, wooden display box, punched warranty papers, golden anchor and presentation capsule, assorted booklets, booklet holder, and brown leather wallet. The watch has reference number 16618 and an X serial number dating its production to 1991.

Case

The 18K yellow gold case measures 40mm wide, excluding the crown. The case has mirror polished sides and brushed lugs. The dial is a deep purple and blue tone, shifting between a vibrant royal blue in direct sunlight and a rich velvet purple under warm lighting or angled view. The dial is protected by a scratch resistant sapphire crystal with a cyclops magnifier at 3 o'clock for the date. The crystal is surrounded by a blue aluminum bezel insert.

Bracelet

The watch is on an 18K yellow gold Oyster bracelet affixed to the Submariner style folding clasp with the diver’s extension. The links are secured with traditional push pins (not screw links). The bracelet includes 12 links.

Condition

The watch is in excellent condition overall with minor signs of wear in the form of faint hairline scratches across the bracelet, buckle, and case back. There are no dents or heavy scuffs.

The watch has been tested for time accuracy and water resistance and is running within Rolex standards.

All returns must include every item shipped, including:

Returns missing any of the above will not be refunded until the missing items are also returned.
If materials are not returned, the return will be denied.

Return Process
