Product Description

Description: An all original, iconic, stunning, and vintage Rolex Submariner Date model 16800. This watch is all stainless steel with a matte black dial and rare faded bezel. This watch was produced in the year 1988 and is all original Rolex.

This model features standard submariner features, including a unidirectional rotating bezel; cyclops magnifier and date; and quick set function for the date.

The black glossy dial has round lume index markers, the index markers have a lovely cream patina throughout, matching the hands. The index markers are not bordered. The dial is protected by a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. The crystal is surrounded by a faded bezel, appearing a greyish blue.

The bracelet is tight with 11 links, 2 end links, and the divers extension link and tab. The watch will fit up to a 7.75 inch wrist.

The photos have been magnified to present the condition of the watch. The watch has minor signs of wear in the form of light hairline scratches on the bracelet and buckle. The dial and crystal are in mint condition. The bezel has few signs of wear.
The watch was tested and is running to Rolex standards in timekeeping accuracy and water pressure having had new gaskets to ensure water resistance.

To be eligible for a return, items must be returned in the exact same condition as sent.

  • Missing or damaged boxes, pouches, links, tags, documentation, papers, or certificates

Items that arrive altered or damaged, or with missing materials, will not be accepted.

Accompanying Materials

All returns must include every item shipped, including:

Boxes, Papers and certificates, Warranty cards, Booklets, Accessories, Extra links, Branded packaging, etc.

Returns missing any of the above will not be refunded until the missing items are also returned.
If materials are not returned, the return will be denied.

Return Process

  1. Contact us within the 14-day window to request approval and a Return Authorization.

  2. Once approved, ship the item back using a fully-insured, trackable shipping method.

  3. Items must be shipped within 3 business days of receiving approval.

  4. After inspection and verification, refunds will be processed to the original payment method.

Shipping costs from the original order are non-refundable.

Canceled Orders (Before Shipment)

Orders canceled before shipping but after payment is submitted are subject to a 3% credit card processing fee.
This fee covers non-refundable merchant charges collected by payment processors.
